Vida Cora REVIDALIZE Your Hair Loss Prevention Filtered Shower Head System with Pulsating LED

Vida Cora REVIDALIZE Your Hair Loss Prevention Filtered Shower Head System with Pulsating LED, Inline-Filter and Ionize Rare RocksReally great shower head and the colors are fun. As to the hair loss prevention, I'm going to have to update this over time to see if there is any noticeable difference. In regards to water softening and filtering, it some seem to have some positive impact. I live in an area with extremely hard water, and while this shower head doesn't completely change that, after a few weeks of use I have noticed some impact. The water pressure out of the shower head is excellent, and with some finagling I was able to adjust it so it is high enough. I"m 6'3, and having a shower head that I don't have to crouch under is always hit or miss. Assembly was straight forward and simple. Added props for including teflon tape in the package.
The one criticism I have is that the large filer (the silver cylinder part) is tricky to tighten so that the weight of the head doesn't droop down. I was able to figure it out, but it took a bit.

The Good
- Installation was simple and straight forward.
- Water pressure is great.
- Able to adjust to accommodate us taller folks.
- The changing LEDs are cool.

The Bad
- Figuring out how to adjust and tighten so that the head stays where you set it is tricky.
- Most of the parts are plastic and I worry that careless tightening might break something (This didn't happen to me, but I was careful).

Tip
- What I figured out in terms of adjustment is that after I completely installed the shower head, if you remove the handle from the cradle and twist the filter clockwise, it will tighten the joint and hold in the position it's set.

As a shower head this serves the purpose well, and the LEDs add a cool feature to it. The jury is still out in terms of the long term benefits, and I will update over time.

Hair and Beard Brush for Men 100% Boar Bristles by iOwl Brush

Hair and Beard Brush for Men 100% Boar Bristles by iOwl Brushes - Military Style - Reduces Frizz, Adds Shine and Softness - Complete with Gift Case - Show Your Healthy Sexy Mane and Mustache Now!This is the first brush of this type I have owned, and after a few weeks of use I am really enjoying having it as part of my routine. As it is Boar's hair, it is a stiffer brush, and can be a little uncomfortable until you get used to it (especially if using on a beard). This is not a criticism of this product, but a general truth about boar's hair. As some reviewers have mentioned, there is some loss of individual bristles initially. This is again normal for boars hair (and several other types of brushes) as well. I've owned several boars hair shaving brushes, and this it is always the case that you loose a few bristles at first. This product, is no worse than any others, and after a few uses, I am not experiencing any more losses.

I primarily use this on my beard, and even though I trim fairly short, it looks noticeably cleaner and in order. I used it right before seeing my girlfriend after first getting it, and she commented that my beard looked really good. Winning! It's also made applying beard balm and/or oil evenly a breeze.

I'm loving having this as part of my beard routine, and pretty sure this style of brush will be a permanent fixture now that I've been introduced to it.

I was hooked by french presses several years ago, and this is the most recent of several I have owned. Overall I'm happy with it, although it's not my favorite ever. The style is great, and it has a classy look that is cooler than others. Functionally, it does the job. The metal, mesh, filter glides easily when pressing the plunger down. The lid and handle are plastic, and have a little bit of a cheaper feel. Similarly the handle, while metal, is a little on the thin side.

The Good
- Has a very elegant style to it.
- The pressure required to lower the filter is     good, and not overly difficult.
- It makes coffee (and I would assume tea)       well, to the standard of other french presses.

The Bad
- The lid and top handle are plastic and feel cheap.
- The lid does not grip the glass carafe snugly.
- The side handle is metal, but thin and flexible.

The coffee this press produces is consistent with other french presses, and has been excellent so far. The filter maintains smooth contact with the glass carafe, and while it does not require excessive force to press down, succeeds in keeping grounds from sneaking into the coffee once it's ready to drink.

My primary dislikes are that the lid is plastic, and does not fit snugly on the carafe. Instead, it's loose and requires you to pay some attention to it when pouring. The top handle is also plastic and has a cheaper feel. Despite this, it has functioned well over the past week or so with daily use.

Overall I'm a fan, but will probably look for something with a snugger top, and all metal parts.

Darkiron N8 Headset

I've been looking for a pair of over-the-ear headphones for a while to use at work, so it's clear to people that I can't hear them when they walk up and start talking. I have been using these for about a week, and have been really enjoying them. They look sharp, the red detailing is tasteful. Some headphones go way over the top for my taste, and I appreciate that while there is a splash of color, it's not obnoxious.

The sound quality is very good, and I'm getting the full range of highs and lows. These are capable of reaching a solid level of volume, without getting scratchy or distorted. Also, when these are on, they block exterior sound very well. One thing I did note, is there is a fair amount of noise that bleeds outside the headphones. I have to be careful, using them at work, not to turn them up too loud as people in the desks nearest mine can definitely hear them clearly if the volume is up to high.

I'm also a big fan of longer chords. For some, this might be a con, but I appreciate the ability to have it stretch wherever I want it to. The volume and controls work fine. They aren't incredibly flashy, but do the job.

The Good
• Aesthetically sharp, with a little color and not obnoxious.
• The Sound quality is really good.
• A long chord and basic controls on the chord is a plus for me.

The Bad
• Noise-bleed outside of the headphones. Definitely something to be aware of if using in a public space, or working near others.

All in all, a great pair of headphones that I'm enjoying using on an almost daily basis. My only hangup is the noise-bleed, but it's not a deal killer for me.

I kid you not, this is the first screen protector I have ever applied in my entire life, where I did not have any bubbles. I couldn't believe it. I felt magical! It was also incredibly helpful to have everything I needed included in the package. Next time I purchase a screen protector this is the brand I will be going with.
The screen protector itself is clear, and doesn't restrict the view of the screen at all. It lined up perfectly on my phone (S6). It seems to be durable, and will definitely protect against scratches. I haven't worked up the nerve to hit it with a hammer yet, but if I do I'll post a video!

The Good

  • I was able to install without any air bubbles thank to clear instructions.
  • Everything you need is included in the package.
  • Clear, high quality, and doesn't negatively impact using your phone.
  • Will protect against scratches.
  • None that I have found.

Magnetic Car Mount: Stalion Universal Cell Phone Car Cradle

I think the first question everyone has about any magnetic phone cradle is "Will it really hold my phone securely?" The answer to that question, for this cradle at least, is a resounding "Yes!" I tested over a few days with my Samsung S6, and also had a buddy test with his S7 Edge, and both phones locked in and didn't budge. This included driving in rush hour with frequent stops, around town, turning at various speeds and even a few bumps. The clips that hold the cradle to the vents also create very secure connection. As a plus, I really love how low-profile the cradle is when a phone isn't attached.

I only have a couple criticisms, and they really are only sorta-criticisms. The first is regarding the joint that adjusts the angle of the head. It's difficult to get it tight enough so it won't loosen and adjust position. I was able to bypass this by the way I angled the vents, so that it was propped in a position that I wanted it. The second is the magnet that attaches to the case or body of the phone will block wireless charging. However, I was able to relocate the magnet to the bottom of my phone, which still provided a secure hold to the cradle, and moved it out of the way of the wireless charging receiver.

The Good
  • Is absolutely secure, even with heavy phones.
  • Cradle is low profile when no phone is mounted.
  • Can be setup in a way that will not block wireless charging.

The Bad
  • The join to adjust the angle is difficult to keep tight (But can be worked around).
  • You have to consider placement of the magnet on the phone so as not to block wireless charging. May be more or less difficult depending on the phone, and where the wireless charging receiver is.

All in all, I like this mount, and for this style of mount is a great choice. The couple cons I had aren't deal breakers, and were fairly easy for me to work around.

Skiva Cord2Go micro-USB KeyChain

Making sure chargers and cables are handy, wherever I go, have become routine and are always on the list of "Do I have it?" when I'm going to be gone all day, staying overnight somewhere, or think I might. An of course, I always manage to forget to bring a cable and end up scrambling to find one. Ever since I received this, it has become a permanent addition to my key chain. It's so nice to know I always have a cable handy in a pinch. It's usually pretty easy to find a USB somewhere to plug into, and now I always can. The cable is very short, but that sort of is the nature of this particular beast, and I would expect that in a compact item.

The quality is very good. The cable itself is thick, and I confirmed it does support rapid charging on my S6. Honestly, pleasantly surprised that it really did.

One other thing to note, I am very selective about my key chain real estate. I hate bulky key chains, and this has an incredibly slim profile. It hasn't bothered me at all, and I'm very picky.

The Good
I always have a cable handy, and have used it multiple times since receiving it a few days ago.
The quality is great, the connections are strong, and it supports rapid charging.
The form factor is slim, and does not add tremendous bulkiness to a key chain.

The Bad
Not a true bad, but the cable is extremely short. It's a compact item, so it's to be expected.
I loving having this handy, and love not having to worry about whether I have thrown a cable in when going out and about.
